TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SAL

1. Sale Basis

All vehicles are sold “as is, where is”, with no warranty, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

 

2. Vehicle Information Disclaimer

No warranty or representation is made regarding the accuracy of any information provided to buyers, whether in written, verbal, or image form. Buyers must not rely solely on information provided for convenience.

Such information includes, but is not limited to:

• Year

• Make

• Model

• VIN

• Mileage

• Odometer disclosure

• Condition

• Actual cash value

• Estimated repair cost

• Damage type

• Operational status (whether the vehicle starts or not)

• Title status

Vehicles sold with a regular title may have salvage history.

 

3. Compliance & Roadworthiness

We do not guarantee that vehicles currently meet, or can be modified to meet, local emissions and/or safety requirements. Compliance with applicable laws and regulations is the sole responsibility of the buyer.

 

4. Buyer Responsibility

It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to:

• Ascertain

• Confirm

• Research

• Inspect

• Investigate

the vehicle and all relevant information regarding its type, condition, and status prior to placing a bid or completing the purchase.

By receiving and paying the invoice, the buyer acknowledges and accepts all Terms and Conditions stated herein.

 

5. Condition Acknowledgement

With respect to the invoiced vehicle, all known faults have been disclosed and are acknowledged by the buyer.

Modern Classics by Vintage Motors T/A Vintage Motors, its staff, representatives, and affiliates shall not be held liable if the vehicle was not physically viewed by the buyer or the buyer’s representative prior to purchase.

No guarantee, express or implied, is made regarding the condition of the engine or any of its components.

 

6. Refund Policy

Vintage Motors reserves all rights and discretion regarding refunds.

If a refund is approved:

• A 15% handling fee of the purchase price will be deducted.

• Transport costs incurred by the buyer are non-refundable.

7. Third-Party Services

If Modern Classics by Vintage Motors (Pty) Ltd contracts a third party on behalf of the client (being the invoiced individual, company, or representative), Modern Classics by Vintage Motors (Pty) Ltd shall not be held responsible for any issues, claims, damages, or losses relating to the client’s vehicle, even while in the care of Modern Classics by Vintage Motors or any contracted third party performing services or work.
