Up for sale is this Mufasa Motorhome 2017 Iveco Daily 4x4 Double Cab
The Mufasa Motorhome is a serious custom overland setup built for long-distance travel, remote camping and proper comfort. Built by Lion King Manufacturing & Rentals, it pairs a 2017 Iveco Daily 4x4 Double Cab with a purpose-built Lion King motorhome trailer. With only 14,000 km, upgraded power, off-grid systems and a huge specification list, this is not a normal camper.
The Iveco has been upgraded from 107kW to 114kW with Stage 2 work by Rob Green Motorsport, including an ECU remap, turbo upgrade, intercooler upgrade and stainless steel exhaust. It also features Telma electromagnetic retarder brakes, SABS-approved Knorr-Bremse air brake upgrades, extra suspension blades, an extra 90L diesel tank, snorkel, bull bar, Warn 5.44-ton winch, front and rear tow bars, LED lighting and trailer air couplers.
The trailer was built with an aluminium Alutip chassis and high-quality fibreglass/honeycomb side panels. It has trailer air suspension, hydraulic levelling legs, large storage areas, water tanks, external 220V plugs, gas storage, rear camera, roof viewing area, Dometic awning and multiple external hatches.
The off-grid setup is one of Mufasa’s strongest features. It has a full Victron system with Quattro inverter, MPPT charge controllers, Color Control GX, battery monitoring, 3 x 200Ah gel batteries, 1.2kW solar and a slide-out Honda 3kVA silent generator.
Inside, Mufasa is built for proper living. It has a king-size extra-length bed, custom leather finishes, bedside 220V plugs, USB chargers, TVs, Dometic aircon, overhead storage, fans, blinds with bug nets and a comfortable living area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a Dometic basin and gas stove combination, WAECO drawer fridge, SnoMaster 26kg ice maker, Defy convection oven/grill/air fryer, Dometic dishwasher, pull-out table, bar cabinet, grocery storage and custom drawers.
The bathroom is a complete moulded and sealed fibreglass unit with a Dometic electric-flush toilet, pull-out toilet tank, basin, shower, fold-down shower seat, LED lighting, mirrors and sliding window.
Outside, it offers an external kitchen and entertainment setup with hot and cold water, drawer fridge, Samsung Smart TV on a custom pull-out/swivel bracket, soundbar, bar cabinet, storage drawers, jerry can storage, toolbox drawer and large external storage compartments.
