Up for sale is this stunning Mercedes Benz W108.
This timeless beauty has proven herself to be a collectable and investable classic. She runs and drives well, her interior presents good, the interior has been redone. Her lines are straight, and she starts on the quarter turn. Her doors open and close nicely, and we promise that you would not park this car and not look back twice.
This recently restored W108 has a rare floor shift manual. The work that has recently been done includes new shocks, new tyres and suspension that has been serviced. Her prop shaft has been redone with a new centre bearing and new diff seal. The gearbox seal also has been replaced and the hydraulic clutch slave and master clutch cylinder have all been redone. The motor has been resleaved, new rings and bearings. New injectors, and balanced pistons and conrods. The injector pump has been rebuilt and calibrated to the new injectors by Bosch. Engine head has been redone, the flex hoses, power steering hoses, oil cooler hoses and electrical cooling fan, have been replaced.
She also has a new electric ignition system and rebuilt fuel pump. The majority of her harness is still original. She has a manual push start button to cold start the injector. Her starter has been rebuilt, along with the alternator. She also has new plug wires and a rebuilt water pump.
The cabin heater has been rebuilt and all seals replaced. The ventilation fan has been replaced and new globes fitted to the controls. Her body has been finished in a full astral silver paint. Her dash has been recovered, she also has new door and window rubbers. Her master cylinder has also been rebuilt.
She is licensed and registered.
