The Volkswagen Type 3 is a compact car manufactured and marketed by Volkswagen from 1961 to 1973. Introduced at the 1961 Frankfurt International Motor Show, the IAA, the Type 3 was marketed as the Volkswagen 1500 and later as the Volkswagen 1600, in three body styles: two-door Notchback, Fastback, and Station Wagon, the latter marketed as the 'Squareback' in the United States. This car, being the Squareback 1600, it has the iconic air- cooled 4 cylinder engine mated to the 4 speed manual and was fitted with disk brakes in the front.
 
The car was tested over a distance of 200km in different driving situations, on main roads to open freeways. The car starts up consistently and shifts through all the gears effortlessly. The car drives smoothly and handles well at any speed. All the electronic accessories are in working condition, from upgraded head lights, to wipers and gauges.
 
This car has been fitted with a beautiful custom interior, modern aftermarket sound system that has a concealed head unit in the glove box.
