This 1968 Mercedes-Benz 230 (W110) "Fintail" is a single-family owned survivor with a long-standing local history, having been purchased from its original owner back in 1978. As the flagship 6-cylinder model of the W110 chassis lineup, this 230 sedan represents an increasingly rare piece of classic Mercedes-Benz heritage.
 
Powered by its Mercedes-Benz inline-6 engine paired with a manual gearbox, the vehicle is a running project. The engine bay remains mostly complete and authentic to its original layout. The vehicle is currently experiencing occasional overheating issues, meaning mechanical attention to the cooling system will be required to get it back to optimal running order.
 
Cosmetically, the bodywork has been resprayed in its factory grey shade, while the cabin retains its classic look featuring red vinyl seating. The interior flooring requires some TLC.
