This 1964 Ford Thunderbird is exactly what a Thunderbird should be: big, stylish, comfortable, and full of period presence. Finished in blue with a light original interior, this is a proper American personal luxury coupe with the right engine, the right options, and that unmistakable 60s Ford attitude.
 
Under the bonnet sits the factory 390ci V8, paired with an automatic gearbox. It starts, runs, and drives comfortably, making it a usable classic rather than a static garage ornament.
This Thunderbird also comes with the sought-after tilt-away steering column, giving the cabin that proper Jet Age feel.
 
The interior is original and does show age, but importantly there are no tears. That matters. It keeps the car honest and gives it the correct feel instead of looking like something that has been overdone.
 
The body presents well overall with strong chrome, good stance, and great road presence. There are visible age-related marks and imperfections in the paint, including some cracking and scratches around the bootlock area, so this is not being sold as a concours car. It is an honest, usable Thunderbird with loads of character.
 
These 1960s Thunderbirds are becoming harder to find in this condition, especially with the factory 390 V8, electric windows, power steering, power brakes, and tilt-away steering column still part of the package.
