The 1956 Dodge Custom Royal was built in an era when chrome was generous, tailfins meant optimism, and a V8 under the bonnet was a statement. This example carries all of that presence, but it wears it calmly. Finished in period turquoise with the correct brightwork and sweeping side trim, it looks exactly how a mid-50s American sedan should look. Long. Confident. Unapologetic. Step inside and you’re met with a cabin that takes you straight back to the Eisenhower era. The two-tone bench seat, the wide dash, the steering wheel with its bold chrome centre. It feels substantial. Mechanical. Honest.
 
Under the bonnet sits the V8 that defines it. Recently serviced. It starts easily, settles into that familiar burble and pulls with smooth, effortless torque. It runs and drives as it should.
