This 1953 Citroen Traction Avant is a charming old French classic with real presence. Finished in a soft green with matching steel wheels, chrome trim, rear-mounted spare wheel, and a cream interior, it has that unmistakable Traction Avant shape that still feels special today.
 
She was owned for around 23 years and was always kept garaged. 
 
It is fitted with its original engine and original manual gearbox, and remains in standard specification. The car does run, although a small electrical fault was noticed when it was started recently, so that will need to be addressed by the next owner.
 
The body presents well and the car has clearly been cared for over the years. The seller is not sure if it has been restored before or if it remains largely original, but assumes it may have had restoration work at some stage due to its overall condition.
 
The cabin has lovely period character, with cream upholstery, painted dashboard, chrome detailing, simple gauges, and the correct old-school driving position. It has a proper classic interior. Simple, honest, and full of charm.
 
A lovely Traction Avant for someone who wants a character-filled classic with history, charm, and strong visual appeal. It is not being sold as a fresh concours restoration, but as a well-presented, older classic that deserves to be preserved and enjoyed.
